The United States delegate Steve Witkoff is slated to attend the talks, based on reports from Israel, together with Israel’s negotiators and a Palestinian delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya, the assistant leader of the political office of Hamas.

Khalil al-Hayya is expected to have discussions with mediators from Egypt and Qatar in the city of Cairo on Monday morning, ahead of discussions in the resort city of Egypt of Sharm El Sheikh.
